Hehe, I love my Uni! ♥
Went on an excursion to the Museum of Sydney today. Because I'm lazy and I couldn't be bothered figuring out Google Maps in a part of the city I've visited only a couple of times in my life, I asked a few people for directions even though I knew getting there was fairly straightforward HAHA. Oh man I am such a typical woman (what with the asking for directions and cbf maps LOL wow it is true.)

My DSLRbaby finally got a real day out ♥!

Deliberately uploading the one with my hand covering my face omg. LOL

The point of the excursion was to visit the Culture Jamming exhibit, which displays photographs taken of the efforts of the activist group The Lonely Station (I think this was the name. I was very tired and not concentrating when I was reading. LOL). They took public areas such as billboards touting corporate advertisements and 'defaced' them with thoughtful and humorous messages. I didn't register it at the time, because I was very very sleepy, but their efforts were much more than commendable - they became part of cultural history, because they took capitalist ads and completely changed their meaning. Some people actually scaled the Opera House and painted 'NO WAR' on it the day before Iraq War, making the matter International News! (I think that wasn't them though, but they were inspired by it and showed their support by writing NO WAR on every billboard they could find with the Opera House on it) And The Lonely Station were literally just a bunch of law students studying at UNSW (again, I think). #madproud

Not to mention the photos were inspiring from a photographer's point of view :))))) (There are no photos of the photos themselves, sorry, I told you I'm lazy! Hahaha)

There was this one room that had glass walls and you overlooked the courtyard and the intersection and whatnot :). IT ALSO HAD AMAZING LIGHTING, AND WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO...

I have the cutest classmates ever!! hahahaha

Already behaving like an old friend wtf. "Nooo stop taking photos!!"

MOS giftshop..!

Ok do they have the wackiest stuff in there or what

Frances and Janice (my lovely lovely lovely Irish teacher! [I mean I THINK she's Irish D: that's what her accent tells me o.o"])

Looks like 2 donuts surrounded by international students lolz

Reminded me of China, except much cleaner and more dignified and entrepeneur-ey. (Good English Jess)

So many questionable positions whilst luvoing on the train today .. Heh heh ^_^"

There we go! Yay! See you sexy angels soon! xo

P.S. Tried my hand at liquifying my nose, ended up looking like Voldemort and with a lower ego.

I realised that I hadn't taken out my DSLR in a very long time, and this was all partly due to the fact that I've been lazy, I've been forgetful and - to be honest - I want a new camera/lenses :(. There, I said it! I'm unsatisfied with my camera. I can't wait to get a job and make money of my own so I can get all these things. ♥

So, today, I took my DSLR for a little stroll :)

This next one is a bit creepy but I prefer to call it "street art". The child wanted her (grand?)mother to pick her some flowers and I snapped it XD.

See you later! xo
